An Image Reconstruction Method Using Singular Value Decomposition for Magnetic Particle Imaging

Magnetic particle imaging is a medical imaging technology suitable for noninvasive diagnostics. However, the image resolution was degraded due to either noise or the reconstruction method itself. In order to overcome this problem, we examine a new reconstruction method using the singular value decomposition. We compare this proposed method with the conventional methods by numerical experiments, and confirm the improvement of the image resolution by the proposed method.
