Towards a Diffusion-Based Microfluidic Device for Isolation of Cell-Derived Microparticles

Cell-derived microparticles (MPs) have been proposed as novel diagnostics biomarkers for a wide range of diseases. However instruments and methods used the purification of these vesicles from blood are not yet appropriated. In this paper, we present the simulation of a diffusion-based sorting microdevice for purification of MPs.
