Graphene-Coated Textile Sensors for Intelligent Medical Garments

This paper reports, for the first time, graphene-coated textile electrodes for biosignal acquisition which can be scaled-up to realize wearable sensors and intelligent medical garments. The application of the electrodes was demonstrated by electrocardiogram (ECG) measurements. Excellent cross correlation of 97% was achieved between the signals measured with the new textile electrodes and that of conventional silver/silver-chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrodes.
