An Optically Transparent Micro-Ring Ultrasonic Detection Enables Isometric Multimodal Photoacoustic Microscopy

A cover-slip type transparent optical ultrasonic detector based on a polymeric micro-ring resonator was developed for achieving optical resolution photoacoustic microscopy (ORPAM) at diffraction-limited spatial resolution. Here we report an isometric ORPAM at diffraction-limited resolution by using an optically transparent micro-ring resonator ultrasonic detector and a commercial inverted microscope platform.
