Optical Ph Monitoring for Microfluidic Tissue Culture Applications

We have developed an optical sensor for monitoring of pH value for microfluidic tissue culture applications using the color change of phenol red-containing DMEM at pH values of 6-8. This method is applicable for long-term monitoring of pH value for drug toxicity applications.
