Development of Brain-on-a-Chip System based on Microfluidic Perfusion of Organotypic Hippocampal Cultures

We developed a microfluidic perfusion system to maintain viable organotypic hippocampal cultures. This system is compatible with multiple electrode arrays (MEAs), and can be used to study neurological disease processes that occur over long time periods. Small device footprint will enable parallel, high-throughput experiments.
