Sensor-Cells as Platform Technology for Early Detection in Low Resource Settings

Mass screening for early detection of communicable and non-communicable diseases invaluable for improving the public health. A low-cost sensor is critically needed for the implementation of such program. We have genetically engineered immortalized cell line into platform sensing technology that can be transformed into a point-of-care sensor. These immortalized cells can be rapidly expanded at low manufacturing cost for distribution in low resource settings.
