Development of Automated High Throughput Microfluidic Single Molecule Detection Platform for Point of Care Applications

We have developed the microfluidic single molecule detection platform for the high throughput point-of-care screening applications. This platform is consisted of single molecule fluorescent detection system, microfluidic array device and automated XY-stage with the potential management relay system. This platform can automatically and continuously detect specific biomarkers and molecular interactions from many samples with single molecule accuracy that is inevitable for drug efficacy testing and early stage screening applications. We prospect this system will have 16-fold increase in efficiency for screening applications.
