Point of Care Outcomes Assessment using Mobile Motion Analysis Technology

Human motion analysis provides a quantitative means of assessing whole body and segmental motion of individuals in order to better determine treatment strategies and monitor post-treatment progress. While marker-based technologies are often cost- and location-prohibitive, a mobile, marker-based technology for community application was recently developed and used to assess 23 children with musculoskeletal pathologies during a 7-week intensive therapy program.
