Reconfigurable Architecture for Wearable Sensor Network

We propose a fully reconfigurable, sensor-level modular and plug-and-play connectable wearable sensor network consisting of EEG and other physiological signals for multimodal neuro-physiological monitoring. We have prototyped EEG sensor blocks utilizing a novel analog front end, which eliminates the need of the Driven Right Leg (DRL) circuit of the traditional EEG system. A central node can interrogate each sensor node to collect information of interest leading to a system which is easily deployable in natural settings.
