Development of an Adaptive Morphological Filter for Removal of Baseline Wanders in Electrocardiogram

Usual linear filters used for denoising electrocardiograms may cause waveform distortion especially in the ST-T segment. In this study, an adaptive morphological filter was proposed to improve low frequency amplitude responses and suppress motion artifacts, and evaluated statistically in terms of the improvement rate.
