Reducing surgery cancellations is critical for improving hospital resource utilization and patient outcomes. In this study, we employ negative binomial regression to analyze relationships between the number of cancelled procedures per day and the effect of various patient flow parameters. Of the factors analyzed, it was found that theatre utilization had the greatest impact on the number of cancelled procedures.
